Let there be light...

I am always trying out new possibilities for lighting and how we can be more imaginative in how we light  spaces. It does not have to be a bulb with lampshade in the middle of the room. Lighting can create mood, drama and atmosphere in a space. My light pieces set out to achieve this and become a focal point of any space.

I have designed and fabricated lighting features for a range of bars, restaurants, hotels and private residences in Lisbon each responding to the overall design concept of their setting.

Materials

  Many of my lighting designs utilise  recycled and repurposed materials. From vintage meccano and scientific glass made into a chandelier to reinforcing steel salvaged from skips and building sites. This gives each piece a unique quality and its own history

Environments

Many of my designs are 'one-off' unique pieces but i am happy to adapt designs and produce series pieces for bars restaurants and other public spaces. message me to discuss your requirements
